About Chris McCune
It seems that organizing is in my blood. Growing up in Virginia I would always help my mom plan birthday parties and my grandmother with her
home interior parties. Then when I was in High School I became the President of the Future Business Leaders of America at George
Washington High School and got my first real taste of planning meetings and events for a large group or people. At the age of 17 I was lucky
enough to be part of the team that planned, decorated, and executed our senior prom.
Planning Weddings came next for friends that I had known while growing up. While volunteering my help for my friends I worked for a great
company that had their own Employee Activities Committee. While serving as President of this, I had a hand in numerous fundraisers, social
and community events, company parties & picnics, and holiday events. I also had a great team that worked with me 2 years in a row to put on a
huge Winter Ball!
After receiving a degree in Marketing, I moved to Kernersville NC to attend UNCG to obtain my Hospitality Management degree. In March of 2005
I decided to open my own business, Tailored Affairs. I started this company as a result of my passion for event planning and it has turned into a
great outlet for me to make dreams come true. With my knowledge of, and experience with, the best of the best vendors, I am here to take the
stress out of your event and make sure it is the moment of a lifetime.
When I am at your event I am there to make it the best. Instead of being there as simply the event manager I become part of the event. I get just
as excited about a client's party or wedding as if it were my own. This ensures you that your special moment is as close to perfect as it can be. I
love what I do and I strive to make it show by providing everyone a Tailored Affair to remember!
